British undergraduate degree classification from the highest to the lowest result:
First-class honours (referred to as 1st  –  “first” degree)
Upper second-class honours (referred to as 2:1-  “two one” degree)

Once you have completed your undergraduate study (with minimum of 2:2 result) you can continue with a postgraduate study. Postgraduate study usually takes 1-2 years to complete. At the end of your postgraduate study you will be awarded a master’s degree relevant to your subject of study (for example MA which stands for Master of Arts).

Many universities offer student accommodation for the first year students. However, you can always find your own accommodation as it is very common in London to rent rooms to students. You can share a house or flat with other students. For more information see the LIVING section. For information on finding employment see the WORKING section.
